On April 24, 2005, Robyn Hitchcock webmaster David Greenberger passed along permission to fan Bayard for shows to be hosted at the Archive. There are two separate sections here: for "Robyn Hitchcock" material (such as solo or with the Egyptians), and for "Soft Boys" specifically. Note: No Soundboard uploads in either case, please.

I checked with Robyn and came up with this statement:
People are welcome to trade recordings made in the room, as well as radio
broadcasts, but not soundboard reocrdings from venues.
And the archiving is fine -
Robyn's take on the taping seems to be at he's okay with it, as long as
the venue is, but he doens't necessarily publicise or encourage it. But if
the tapes are out there, might as well archive them.
Subject: Re: Soft Boys OK for archive.org too?
The same can apply for Robyn's anf Soft Boys material - if it's recordings
made in the room or radio
broadcasts, that's fine, just not board tapes.
